
This week we are celebrating the legendary Sarah McLeod! Sarah has recently participated in the Nutrition Coaching Program and since starting her journey she has awakened an untold chapter that has unlocked Sarah’s true potential. Over these past 4 weeks, Sarah has progressively worked through the program learning more about her body each and every day. The nutrition changes Sarah has implemented into her everyday life has changed her outlook on life eliminating a lot of initial digestive side effect she used to feel including bloating, burping, gurgling etc. Sarah, in under 30 days, has eliminated all digestive side effects, improved her sleep and has not experienced the excruciating migraines she once used to Iive with almost daily! Along with all of these sensational achievements, one of Sarah’s greatest successes has been her shift in mindset! Sarah finally sees her accomplishments and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Working full pelt, being a mum and going through this program can test anyone and Sarah’s determination and shift in priorities to focus on herself, has allowed her to achieve sensational results! Since starting this program Sarah has achieved a 4.4kg drop in Body Fat, Lost 1 Level of Visceral Fat, and Dropped 4.2kg of Weight. Her muscle has increased by 200g, and her hydration has increased by a further 1.5%! Congratulations Sarah on the amazing results!

Here is Sarah’s story in her words:
“My life before starting the Nutrition Coaching Program comprised of ALOT of sugar…!!! I knew I consumed a lot but didn’t realise actually just how much it was.
Since a young age I’ve suffered from migraines, INTENSE migraines at that… I was always under the belief that they were hereditary UNTIL I spoke to Terri. Terri advised me that my migraines were highly likely linked to my nutrition rather than being hereditary. She explained the Nutrition Coaching Program and the “nutrition bootcamp” to me. I’m not going to lie it sounded daunting and scary to me BUT at the same time it sounded super intriguing. Imagine if I have lived 40 years with these crippling migraines only to find out that they were not linked to genetics but in fact what I put in my mouth!!!
I have 3 children the oldest being 19 years old, and to say my body has been through the ringer is an understatement… I have not been very kind to it over the years. I often look in the mirror and no longer recognise the woman staring back at me. To be body positive and love the skin you’re in is extra important to me, as having 3 kids and growing up in today’s society with all the innuendos of having to look a certain way has put so much pressure on them. So I try to remember my motto of “love yourself with no exceptions” but that unfortunately was fizzling away!!!
My best friend started going to Terrific Fitness and was achieving amazing goals. Watching and listening to her story and seeing these MASSIVE improvements in not only her physical health but also her mental health (which is a MASSIVE goal of mine) was inspiring and gave me the want to speak to Terri regarding my issues.
I started the “Nutrition bootcamp” Easter Monday. I am a Cake Artist so sugar and other indulgences are around me 24/7. So, I already knew that this was going to be a missive task with all that added temptation.
I’m not going to lie the first 5 days of the bootcamp were one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through BUT what got me through was knowing I had the support of my amazing coach Emilia!!!! And of course, my bestie who kept telling me I can do it every day when I was practically in tears.
Emilia worked alongside me and explained why my body and my mind were feeling the way they were feeling and that it was normal and things would get better. She put my mind at ease constantly. Emilia added a challenge on day 6 to try and do 7500-10000 steps a day to work hand in hand with my nutrition. I’m proud to say that I’ve completed 10000 plus, steps a day every day since!!! (Not a huge achievement to many but to me I’m kicking goals)
Since starting the bootcamp and changing my eating habits it’s like someone has unzipped the back of my head and released all the brain fog. I cannot remember a single time that I have been bloated or uncomfortable after eating since starting the nutrition bootcamp.
And then there comes sleep; OH EM GEE I cannot explain to you the different level of quality sleep I get now! Being a baker I am up early, but now when I do wake up I feel energised and clear in the head compared to pre bootcamp.
This is now Day 32 of my bootcamp story (and day 28 of being migraine free) when I look in the mirror I’m slowly beginning to see the woman I used to know staring back at me. Yes there is still a LONG way to go but now I have hope!!!
